Our Second Experimental Film

For this video we used a Sony HDV 3CCD camera. With this we were able to complete the techniques we couldn't on the flip camera. I found it a lot harder to use than the Flip Camera, although with a bit of practice we began to learn how it works. We had a few issues with getting it to record, but soon figured out where we were going wrong. We experimented a lot with the techniques we weren't able to achieve before, and now have evidence of experimenting with pulling focus, and maintaining focus while the subject is becoming closer. I'm happy with this video, and because we used people in it, it feels a bit more interesting. We enjoyed using this camera, and I would feel confident using it to create a planned video.

After we downloaded the video, we had to put it into iMovie as Final Cut wasn't working. With this we just created the video by piecing together the shots in the best order. When we came back next week however, Final Cut was working and we put the video into it, as well as a song. We then used the program to add music to the video, and I attempted to make it fit in with the timing. I feel this went well, although I could have used more appropriate music.
